Dr. Racquel Assaye is the Acting President & Chief Executive Officer for Mental Health Partnerships. At MHP, Dr. Assaye oversees the organization’s mission to provide access to peer support, training and advocacy to improve the mental wellness of our clients and participants.

Dr. Assaye previously served at MHP for almost three years as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this role, she worked with Mazzoni Center in the roles of Chief Financial and Chief Executive officer. In these roles, she oversaw services for special populations along a continuum of care including behavioral and physical health services.

Dr. Assaye recently completed her Doctor of Business Administration where her dissertation was focused on Board Alignment and its impact on CEO Tenure in nonprofit organizations. In addition to completing her doctorate, Dr. Assaye also holds a MS Accounting degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI.

Dr. Assaye is a proud Guyanese native with a passion for numbers and service and has more than two decades of auditing, accounting and non-profit leadership experience. These passions are supported through board membership and community service.
