The Institute@MHP is the training and professional development component of Mental Health Partnerships
We offer nationally recognized training programs to support peer services, service providers, behavioral health organizations, family members, and individuals around the country. Our peer support training programs are exceptionally effective because they are designed and facilitated by people in recovery from mental health and substance use challenges and implement recovery-oriented practices.
The Institute@MHP is a pioneer of Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) training and offers the most comprehensive certification. This course, now available in-person, is approved by Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) and Mental Health America under their MHA National Certified Peer Specialist (NCPS) Certification. Along with our CPS certification course, the Institute@MHP also offers over 25 continuing education courses.
