Me and ADHD: Our ups and downs

I'm 9 years old and my mom is helping me write this.

I have taken all the different kinds of ADHD medicines and they only work for a little while. My teachers think I just don't want to work at school, but that's not true. I try but my mind goes somewhere else all the time.

The counselors say I'm a genius and the teachers don't know what they are doing. But in the mean time I have to suffer. Why do schools have to treat us like we are bad kids? I'm not a bad kid.

My mom and dad can get me to work, but the teachers can't.
